The shelter, fully equipped with period technology , is a fascinating witness to the past, which was a key point of communication between the Warsaw Pact countries.

The extended VIP tour will take you where the standard tour does not. Within two hours underground We will show you unique and still functional telecommunication technologies from the second half of the last century, such as a private branch exchange. You will also see the technologies that were supposed to allow the bunker crew to function even if a nuclear war raged outside.

Combat entry with decontamination

Hygienic loop (decontamination) is key to ensuring the safety and protection of people inside the bunker in the event of a nuclear or chemical attack. Its main function is to remove contaminating particles and substances from the clothing and body surfaces of people entering the bunker to prevent radioactive or toxic material from being introduced inside.

Exchange halls and telex workplaces

Central halls and telex workplaces were of fundamental importance and were actually the reason for the construction of the entire bunker. In the event of war, they would ensure communication between the Warsaw Pact states, communication with Moscow and, of course, communication within the Czechoslovak Republic.

Encryption and secrecy space

Telegraph and voice encryption and secrecy of military communications took place in several halls. Broadcasting was also controlled from here through terrestrial antenna arrays, which are located in the bunker area.
